Good to hear the spacer helped with rubbing.

Why not just swap to 265s or 255/75 to avoid the rubbing mess? Not sure I get the point for a lesser tire selection and worse fitment all for 0.5” extra width and height.

Also lift won’t help with the rubbing overall unless you don’t ever use the suspension’s movement.

Can’t get the place you bought them from to swap? Places like Discount will swap the whole set for free typically, but I don’t know where you got them.

Adding spacers shouldn't of fixed a rub on the cab mount. Should of made it worse. A wheel spacer will only help with uca and frame rub.

I have 275/70/17, with 7” wide TRD 4Runner wheels. No rubbing anywhere. Have factory mudflaps on, and full suspension articulation (no spacer lift or wheel spacers).

I would say the issue is the 7.5” wide sport wheels. If you wanna keep the tires, try 7” wide wheels if that’s in your budget.

Guessing you have been realigned since stock?

In stock form, my truck came with the Sema wheels added by the dealer and 265/70R17. It would hit the stock front right mud flap every time I turned right at speed or hit a bump. Very annoying. No way a wider and taller tire would have worked for me unless alignment moved my tire away from the flap.

That would be due to the low offset of the Sema wheel, despite it being narrower, it wants the tire to interfere with the flap more. Where as the wider stock Sport wheel with its deeper offset wants a wider tire to dig into the upper control arm, but it will clear the mud flap fine up to a skinny 33" or wide 32".

The truck has been aligned since I bought it, but not to deal with rubbing issues. I guess I just got lucky.

same as when running 285/75r16s youl want a 3/4" wheel spacer. just enough to clear the uca without getting into rubbing the cab much if at all. i think people tend to jump right to 1.25" spacers and then they really get into the cab corner

    Some Options:

    1. Remove the front mud flaps.

    2. Do an inner Fender mod to the front which pushes the black inner fender forward a bit , or heat gun and mold the black inner fender.

    3. If rubbing on the UCA, get a wheel spacer so that your offset is closer to 0. Likely either a 1" bora or a 1.25" spidertrax wheel spacer.

    4. Get an alignment to obtain more caster and move the wheel forward with additional caster from the LCA.

    5. Look for any shiny spots to see where you are rubbing, or have a friend follow next to the truck while entering a driveway from an angle to listen to where its rubbing, look for any rub marks and take a Dremel or an oscillating tool and start trimming a little at a time.

    6. Lastly - a body mount chop and weld. (shouldn't need this for 32" tires if you have a proper alignment, and OEM upper control arms.)

I know 2657516 dots on stock but I think that 275 just is slightly too wide
