Man that sucks and Toyota should do something about this. I would recommend you sell just the UCA. I see post of others wanting the red anodized UCA that come with the pro. Get some JBA UCA and see if that helps. That way your still keeping your OE suspension minus the OEM UCA As for the paint I think your on the right track by posting this here to see if other owners are experiencing this same issue. Or better yet make a Poll in regards to the issues

I think that's just excess urethane or build up when the product is sprayed on. I worked around a spray product years ago, never applied it myself, but there was similar looking spots on the things that would get sprayed.

 

Paint should last but Tacoma whites seem to flake from what I’ve read. You have another issue. I’d take it to the dealer and have it fixed. The shocks.. well you went non stock. I think the distributor (Fox) needs to get involved. It’s their product. Good luck

On my 16 after about a year and a half of ownership the drivers door sill already had rust bubbling through the paint. It was a known issue and Toyota did paint it. They must of used sheet metal made with their recycled Tacoma/Tundra frames. That’s how bad it was and I washed my truck all the time and undercoated it when I first got it. Toyota isn’t making cars and trucks like they used to

 

Its common knowledge that Toyota has rust issues with their metal formula. Dont most people immediately take their truck to a shop that does rust prevention the vehicle?

I can't believe people try and rationalize this on a 50k truck lol.

The lower paint on my pass side door where the textured rock guard paint is has ripples in it like the paint machine layed down the paint unevenly.

It annoys the crap out of me, but it will probably look worse if I have Toyota fix it.

 

I expected a perfect paint job on my Corvette, and it was! My Tacoma paint job, not so much. But I do agree that the OPs apparant paint issue does seem a little beyond what I would consider acceptable on a mega-mass produced pick em up truck.

 

I've owned over a dozen cars from cheap shit boxes to loaded silverados, none of them had the QC issues my 23 tacoma has had.

 

Of those attempting downplay the OP's bitch, and even legitimize this level of QC, not fucking one would accept it on their own vehicle.
