    Mostly dust and dirt.
Must be nice to be able to afford soybean oil. Us upper lower middle class working stiffs are lucky if we can afford used popcorn oil.

Dude, that video is 40 minutes long and just ONE. Just explain it.

What problems with the 3.5 are you trying to prevent?

Ahhh the ol' green 0w30! It was indeed a stout oil too. It pretty much faded away though and the only replacement was the 0w40. I ran the 0w40 in my VW's...

I ran it for several years in my 5.7 Tundra. When it was replaced with the Belgian 0W-40, I decided to try TGMO (you know this acronym if you've ever been on BITOG). I can tell you that the TGMO quieted down valvetrain noise immediately and substantially. I was really surprised.

I remember I had some of the 0w30 left over and I put it in a 2001 Ford Expedition with the 2V 5.4. That ran the smoothest I've ever heard it! Never have ran the Toyota Group Motor Oil; it was just too expensive compared to other oils in the same weight.

OEM Toyota oil and filter. It's very reasonably priced. Change twice a year or every 5k and have a very healthy engine for hundreds of thousands of miles. There is really no magic out there, no matter what the advertisers claim.

I will have to check the last part of a jug I have at home. The thing is you posted 5w20. I have and that truck calls for 0w20

    Edit
Here is the last jug I got in March 2024. Has the Dexos approval on the front.

Here is the non Advanced 10,000 mile version of the one you linked in 0w20. It also has the Dexos1 logo. I think maybe the 5w20 is not bestowed with dexos aproval, not sure.https://www.walmart.com/ip/254038905

My filler cap says 5thW 20 so that's what I use. Thanks.

Is your truck a 2nd or 3rd gen? 3rd gen owners manual says to use 0w20 and that is what is on my cap. It also says you can use or add 5w20 if 0w20 is not available bit much change back to 0w20 at the next oil change.

FWIW, 'yota oil is Exxon Mobil with a custom additive package, one additive being significantly higher molybdenum than Mobil 1 synthetic.

Mine is 2nd Gen - maybe they changed so they can say faster warm ups, better mileage, longer oil OCI, synthetic oil - what's your guess ?
