Drugged out strippers, and 22-year-old men with hard d****, don't stop to ponder such things.

I feel like I finally got rid of any lingering cigarette smoke smell in my truck I posted about last week.
I left a bowl of coffee grounds on the floor board for a week after vacuuming and spraying fabreze last weekend. This time I vacuumed again thoroughly. Took out the cabin filter. Used this Maguires refresh product that you put in the car like a bug bomb with the windows up and Ac on recirculate for 15 minutes. Added new filter aired it out some, installed clean mats.
I'm pretty happy I can't tell I smoked in there now.
3rd week smoke free so far too.

Dropped her off to get 5.29’s.
ARB front locker and compressor (I’ll install and wire myself) and a fender trim. These guys got it done in two days. Honestly I know my mechanical limits and gearing ain’t it. Glad I went to a professional.

Personally I’m the same way. Gears and transmission stuff are just out of my wheelhouse. I guess if I had the shop space and all the tools and the ability to take my time I might could figure it out…but not as quick and correct as the professionals. How’s it drive with the 5.29s?

Had some 5.29s installed last year to go with some 285/75/17 MT3s.

    5.29s........This is the Way.

Is your truck tuned or still running the factory settings with the 5.29s?

OTT Medium/Spicy tune. That was probably one of the best mods Ive had done.
Towing has markedly improved. Totally different truck honestly.

Yeah I’m thinking that will be my next thing done on the truck. I have a front bumper to put on the front then I think the tune is next.

Cleaned out the inside really well and detailed it yesterday. This morning got up early and took out the old Toytec shocks (previous gen, non-rebuildable) and put in the new Fox that I’ve had for a few weeks. Waiting for a good morning to get in the driveway and get it done. You never really know how worn the shocks are til you’ve got new ones underneath. Butter!

My right rear mudflap broke in an accident I had a while ago. Tufskinz sent me a replacement asap, but the clips that the mudflap screws go in were too worn out for the new screws to catch and reliably hold the mudflap... I finally ordered a new set of fender clips + screws and got my mudflap on... after like 6 months of putting it off haha

Did my 25,000 mile oil change today. Always drain it when the engine is hot. I prefilled the oil filter housing. Yeah I know it’s not necessary but I do it anyway. Put in 6 qts and 6 oz. That puts it right at the full mark. Drain plug gasket was stuck to the pan, I always check that.

Just want to send a shout out to this forum and thank you all for all the ideas in information on my Third Gen. She was totaled last month in a property damage only crash, no injuries. I went with a 2024 TrailHunter, so far so good. Still learning all the new tech...gonna be a while. Thanks all.
