Man the yellow headlights really ruin the look, but gave it a nice wash today.

Also picked up an random orbital polisher for next time.

Looks good and can't go wrong with these seat covers for the price IMO. I have them on my 2nd gen and my son on his 3rd gen.

Spent months trying to find a colour matched grill surround with no luck, so doing this instead.
Work in progress... Next step is nuking the chrome grill surround with oven cleaner + primer/paint/clearcoat.

    20240824_153458.jpg

I bought the modded grill and mesh insert from a local guy for 20$, so I don't know the brand, or if it's a custom job, but it's well made.
The chrome surround is off the grill still on my truck, will probably be driving around without it for a few weeks until I get around to finishing the job.
The aluminium Toyota TEQ emblem is off eBay.

Yes. That’s one of my biggest gripes so far. I was wondering about getting a custom shift handle that doesn’t have threads concentric with the handle thereby providing another inch of separation

Wired my ARB single compressor and rear air locker in to the Switchpros panel in my 2015. Super easy and should have done it sooner.

You can buff those yellowed headlights out in like 30mins. No power tools needed.

To each their own but I sure AS wouldn’t want to turn my poor truck into a tesla, aka fugging iPad on wheels.

I like having actual buttons and dials I can easily operate while driving

Yeah I know, I did my brother’s headlights the other weekend as they were much worse than mine. It was a drill powered pad kit. I may be able to reuse it.

On the move across the country with my 7x14 trailer, the old 6MT pulls at 65 mph without yelling at me too much. Stopped in Dayton, Ohio at the National Museum of the Air Force. What a place, I need to go back for a whole weekend and visit the Wright Brother's flying field and other spots.

I've got a thicker Mishimoto radiator in there, never saw above 194 degrees coolant temp while on a long uphill in 94 degree ambient temps.

I started at 54 degree ambient, amazing what a difference temperature has on engine performance. The 3 "H's" we hate when flying, hot, high and humind.

Rear axle seals and rear brakes. L/R axle seal was leaking. I got the driver's side done and attempted to do the passenger side. Can't get the drum off.

I'll bring the truck into work and try removing the drum there (cutting it off if I have to).
