Good morning everyone. I'm off to Petry's scrap yard to get rid of the old 5.7 and put a few $$ in my pocket. After a week of flat out stupid people and scammers from the MP ad, I gave up and will just scrap it.

I passed Mr. "green eyes" yesterday with the pontoon boat in tow, it seemed like a perfect day to take that out. The scrap yard was a decent venture- $58 in my pocket and I got to watch the grapple crane operator smash the living shit out of that engine after I told him to make the engine suffer!

You're not too far off! The "best" one was the scammer that told me that I HAVE to deliver it to him in Richmond and that he would send me a cashapp ?? payment of $20 later that day.

 

Came across this bad boy at Costco this morning. Now the wife is back on the LC wagon…

I think only Dave @17taconut and I were the only 2 from TW. Meet one of the guys from No Limit Baltimore as well. Nice to know someone there has a nice Tacoma, in any need work done there.

They are nice. Until you look at the price tag.

I currently have an F150 rental. Cue the Ford remarks, but it is nice. Quiet, smooth, so much space.

 

Yeah the price tag is a major problem. I’m going to do my best to try to convince her to get a 4Runner instead haha

I wouldn’t mind having an F150 at all. I’ve driven a lot of Fords and they were always very reliable. A compact pickup just suits my needs/use case better and I hate the way the redesigned Rangers look.

 

Hope all had a fun weekend. Wife & I hiked at a nature preserve yesterday morning. Then went out to a good dinner then to Hagerstown Speedway to watch the races with some friends. Today we kayaked the river to do some eagle spotting, only saw 2 but still cool. Hung out on the beach for a bit and now back at the cabin to wine down for another busy workweek.
