Resistor for blower motor fix, but now only blows on medium

So I found this forum on fixing my son's 2005 blower that only blew on high. I bought the resistor and replaced everything. I'm not supper smart, so I flagged the old resister to make sure I was connecting everything up correctly. After reinstalling Now the fan only works on medium...Did I connect something wrong? How do I confirm I have the wires connected right?

I'm not familiar with this so I can't offer much help. However, if you don't get any feedback,.it could be worth posting a few pictures of the work you did. Also, do you have a multimeter to check voltage,. continuity, etc?
