I'm waiting for my 4th gen to arrive and trying to make some plans to wrap it. I plan to offroad in Colorado and it's not uncommon to encounter a few stray branches so PPF is ideal. Only problem is the prices in Colorado seem kinda high. I've been quoted $7000 to $8500 so far for a clear PPF wrap. Just the wrap, no ceramic coating etc. That's regular PPF too, not the offroad armor or anything.

My other car was $5K to wrap although they had a pricing agreement with Xpel.

Curious if anyone else has a full PPF wrap and what did you pay? Also where are you located? I'm not against a road trip if its a decent saving :)

Ceramic Pro in San Diego quoted $4,000 to do PPF on the full hood, front quarter panels, front bumper, lower rear quarter panels, full roof, and A-pillars plus a ceramic coating with their “lifetime” warranty on the entire truck, rims, and my tonneau cover.

It’s their “ultimate armor” package with some customization (A-pillars, full roof).

I had a 2005 Tacoma (black) and had to get the damn roof repainted twice because Toyota’s paint is essentially 2 atoms thick at this point.

Hrm, that also seems high. Maybe $7000 is a good deal! My other car is much larger but I guess the manufacturer deal saves more than I though.

No coating is lifetime, I’d stay clear of that detailer. But that’s not a bad quote.
