Anyone have the new model Falken AT4s on their rig? Upgrading tires from the garbage Toyo AT3s I have on there. Wondering how your ride comfort is being that these new wildpeaks are a much beefier tire at an insane 67 pound tire. And yes I called the Toyos garbage 20k miles worn out and dry rot ill never buy them again.

Wow thanks for the advice on AT3s, did you check the manufacturing date? I am considering them since they weigh much less than this wildpeaks that you pointed out. I had a set on my old truck they seemed great though.. or maybe they were AT2s actually

I did and also made a complaint to Toyo who advised me that their tires are made in Japan and Mexico. Their tires from Mexico have a recall for tread issues and if they were made in Mexico have a stamp or star on the tire and they would replace them. Well after checking all tires for this so called stamp mine didnt have it. They did however say I can send them back to be evaluated by one of their techs but you know how thats gonna go. They were amazing tires however the tread did not hold up and the dry rot is insane. I do drive a lot but also rotated them at the specified intervals. Very disappointed with them.

Thats the reason I went with the AT3 for the weight comparison to stock. Stock tires were 39lbs each, my AT3 in 275/75/16 were only 41 pounds each however thats where I think the strength in rubber is lacking being that its such a light tire and does not have the E rated reinforcement like others. Just my opinion.

I've got the Japan made Toyo AT3's, SL, 265/70/16. Cracking (dry rot) in between the tread grooves and approximately 26k miles on them in about 2.5 years. They wear super fast, but are really good tires imo. Any SL tire is going to wear fast.

edit: I can get 30k miles out of them, but with winter approaching I'm just to going to replace soon.

Thinking about Goodyear Duratrac RT for the next set.

I actually just got some at4s a couple days ago. I also had the Toyo’s on before that…I got warrantied out and it got put towards the falcons. They lasted like 27000 miles.

But like I said, I’ve only had the At4s on for a few days, so they ride like new tires. Plus I think I knocked my alignment out a few weekends ago offroad. I have to try to fix that tomorrow, before doing a ton of driving on them.

Duratrac RT's in stock size 265/70/16 are XL rated. Slight improvement for higher psi's. If you want more options in C rated tires upgrade to a 17" wheel.

Pretty easily actually through discount tire/americas tire. That’s who I use. I have them do the rotations every 5k for a paper trail.

When they told me it was time for new tires (which I knew) I asked to do the warranty, and they handled the warranty and reimbursement directly.

It’s a prorated amount, but I got like $90 off each tire, or essentially $360 off the total.
