    I have a 2004 taco with 33s auto and i want my gears to not be so dang long. what can i do?

    i’ve also seen 5.29… would that be too aggressive. not worried about top end cuz it’s a tacoma lol.

    I wouldn’t consider 529 unless your intention are 35/37

    I had 488 with 33 and went to 35 without issue

    now it’s 529 with 40s

    would 488 with 33s be equal to stock or would it be shorter than stock cuz i kinda want them shorter

    Assuming you’re a 5vz?

    488 and 33 with an auto would bring it back to what factory is. Your speed will be off by a few mph btw

    yes 5vz. if 488 brings it back to factory, what would top end look like with 529 because 35s are an option in the far future

    LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
    If you break it into percentages it all works out. Assuming you can always hit the limiter in top gear, if you increase tire diameter by 10% you'll gain 10% top speed. If you change the final drive to a 10% numerically lower number you'll see the same. There's online calculators for it too.
