I jumped onto Weathertech in-channel side window deflectors as soon as they were available and recently installed them. The fronts were simple and used no tape. The rears, however, did use tape, but weren’t really difficult to install. I do have one problem with the forward edge of the rear window deflectors - they push outward on the door weatherseal and create a bulge at one end that just doesn’t look right. See the photo. The back edge looks fine. Anyone else have this problem?

Can you tell me where you got them? Amazon or at Weathertech?
I just can't seem to find the in-channel one anywhere.

Did this resolve itself, like sort of bend a bit in a bit over time to stop putting pressure on the weather seal?

I have the same ones on other vehicles and they do not do push out on the weather seal and was looking at them for the Tacoma but did not want to if they create an issue.

I’m sorry to say that it has not resolved itself and I’m not happy about it. I had AVS externally mounted visors on my 2019 TRD OR and might go back to them. Others might disagree, but I cannot recommend these WeatherTech visors.

I have my return label printed. As soon as I can make it to fedex mine will be going back for the same reason.

Appreciate the update from both and will check out the AVS.
