    Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this site. Just wondering if this would be worth the money and if the size would matter. My wife has a 2023 TRD and it is stock everything, running oem tire 265/70r16 and will need new tires for the winter in Colorado. Found a deal on CL for some oem wheels and they have brand new General Grabber Artic LT, but 245/75r16($800). Do you guys think that is a good deal and what about the size? Thanks for the help.

245 is slightly better for ice and city driving because a small contact patch is typically desired for winter driving.

The problem is LT tires are a harder compound and not ideal for winter. They'll still be better than 95% of any non-winter tires, but not a "great" winter tire, especially if you don't need a heavy LT tire.

It's a good price for rims and tires, but I'd want a better tire personally. Maybe run them and see how they do for this winter and go from there.
