Hat’s off to ya. That’s quite the field fix!

 

Went from Los Angeles, CA to Glacier National Park in Montana and back last month.

A stop during the road trip up to Glacier NP.

Was sitting at home other day & leaves were falling Soo time to get out. Prob scariest trail I’ve been on. Made me think of all gear i need’s to have. Was Subie way back in there & they had dead battery, Nice New Tundra came by asked me if i had any & let buddy barrow & didn’t get back, so I went down & drove down trail till found some & went back & jumped them.

A couple weeks ago, camping trip in northern Arizona with the wife and kids taking the 4Runner and Tacoma.

 

Weird order of photos sorry. Road trip to West virginia, Cape Hatteras and Assateague (had to tent it there but very sick). DAC Tent (full size truck) was very nice would rec. Picked this Ranch camper off facebook. No beach photos I didnt buy a permit and was only there for a night/morning. Seen a Escalade do a donut tho. next year more time and ill drive around a lil. No horse pics from Assateague cuz my free jpg converter ran out for now. They exist only in my memories.









Huge shout out @BamBeds for sharing the specs for these sliders. Innovative and efficient. so sick. mine are not pretty but worked wonderfully. Another member in a thread also made their own but I forget who so shout out you for inspo. Homies

Indiana Dunes STATE Park. First time camping not at the National Park. The campground at the State Park is MUCH closer to the lake! Yes, that is sand in my pic. My site backed right up to a sand dune!

 

Where’d you get the plans for the BamBeds?

 

Pretty sure I saw your truck at the Castleton REI back in June lol. I sent the wife a picture asking if she’d buy me that camper.

 

I used 3/4 Birch which I believe is what is used in the OG. 2ea 4x8 sheets

 

Also in the Mt Hood area! Just breaking in the SP after the install on Monday at HQ.

Next stop Glacier National Park.

 

Camped in Northern Colorado this weekend at Yampa river state park. Was a good half way point between home and expo mountain west. Probably won't go to another unless there is something that I want that is a good deal. I'm just trying to figure out what my next camper setup will be. There are too many options.

 

Looks like you've got a pretty good setup, unless something isn't working for you.

 

I keep hitting my head so looking for a little more headroom and space in general.

 

I had that problem.

I sold my cab high shell, and bought a Snug Top Hi-Liner. It was an expensive swap, and worth every penny. Night and day difference.

Think about it. And, of all the options out there, this one is probably the least expensive.

 

@Scott B. Yeah the caps are less. I'm looking at the MX with the full door also

 

@paulisinataco I have a platform in the back, wheelwell height, and windoors in the shell. It is so easy to load/unload the bed, or grab something quick.

Even with the platform, I have plenty of height.

Oh, and my avatar is my old shell. Suppose I should update that pic - it's only been a few years...

 

'19 SX 4x4 on 265/70/16 wildpeaks 2 inch spacers , color match jeraco cap w/ sliders and screens . yakima racks + 7' white box , OR tails and grill of a '21, full drawer overland box (tried to mimic goose gear)

 

Last trip with the BillieBars/Peragon tonneau set up. RSI Smartcap currently on.
