My wife goes once a year to the retina doctor. As I understand the reason is twofold, 1. to monitor the eye that was repaired and 2. to look at the other eye because both eyes are prone to a detached retina.

Will it be a bike vacation?

Good morning. Going to start the process to make hot sauce from the pepper harvest today. Today is the hardest part with cutting up the vegetables and putting them into a brine. I have to look at the string trimmer today, it starts up then bogs down after the throttle is applied. First corrective action is to replace the air filter and clean the carb.

No bike on this trip, taking the Tacoma and our bicycles to the beach. If it were entirely up to me it would be a bike trip.......Bike vacation will be 2 weeks later when we ride south to Maggie Valley, NC for an FJR forum meet up so I still will get my fix.

I had a vitrectomy in my left eye which had 10 tears and partial detachment. A year later I had 3 tears in the right . Year later the side effects were cataracts so had that done . I guess the left optic nerve is enlarged also . They keeping an eye on my eyes

Just got a call from the Nashville VA surgical scheduling dept confirming my upcoming surgery on September 4th . I've got to be.at the hospital at 0630hrs and my surgery will be at 0730hrs

Good morning. Had to order a carb for the Echo string trimmer yesterday. It will be here today. Need to get the hot sauce started today and check the hot water heater expansion tank. There is always something to do around the home.

That's where we'll be heading on Monday. Past few years we've been doing this, head down on Labor Day when the rest of the tourists are heading home and leave on Friday. Not as crowded and hotel rates are only half of what they are before Labor Day. We no longer stay on the weekends like we once did. How long are you there for? Our paths might just cross.
