What’s up? Have a lil issue with my Taco…. Someone sideswiped my truck and need to find a replacement for my passenger mirror. The casing broke off as you can see. It’s for a 22 Limited , grey with the midnight trim.

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
Welcome to TW! I hope you find your mirror.

Welcome aboard, last time I had to replace a mirror I found it on eBay or Rock Auto, can't remember which (mine is a 1st gen.) It was also electric.

    Go buy one.

When you pull it apart examine the mounting pod in the door real carefully.
Make sure holes are not pulled out or the plate is bent.
A simple replacement turns into shit real fast.
Doesn’t always happen but, I’ve repaired enough of them to warn you.
    Have fun..

Forewarning if you get into the inside door panel for mirror replacement ...

The small white panel clips that hold the panel to door can drop (not disappear, but lose-themselves) inside the door. When putting the door panel back on FIRST put the clips on the panel THEN push into the door. If you leave the clips on the metal and push the panel into the door the clips can push through. You can find them again, but it is annoying. Do not ask me how I know. :anonymous:

This happened to me too if it makes you feel better. I carefully removed the interior triangle trim panel to tighten the drivers-side mirror top nut which had loosened up for some reason. 5 minute job. Ya. -Gently- pushed the trim panel into place, and "poof!": all 4-5 of those little #!%$#& took off into the interior of the door and the trim piece fell down to the driveway.
    :annoyed:

I went to the dealer to get replacements: No way I'm going to pull the entire door card for this fiasco. Parts guy (slight smile): "side mirror loose?" Me: "side mirror loose". He gave them to me n/c. Good guy. In appreciation, I bought a new engine air and cabin filter while I was there. He gave me the Toyota web parts discounted site price.
