So, just today, I changed out my old worn suspension out for all new Monroe quick Struts / rear shocks. I test drove the thing and I was a little disappointed to not feel a smoother ride. Am I missing something? Are they just brand new and they soften after a little time?

Also, how long can I get away without getting a new alignment? I was hoping to get new tires, sway bar ends, and tie rods, before I take it in. In that order. Looks like all the work would be done in a week (and half). This is a daily commuter driving mostly on the highway.

BTW - I removed the upper control arm the get the old struts out. Did not loosen the tie rod ends. Did not loosen the bottom control arm camber bolts.
