Sooo guess who gets to get a new dryer? Yea, this guy. Someone make it stop!

It's past that. Housing that holds the bushing in the rear is wallowed out and everything is trashed. I have gotten proficient in putting belts on it though

 

If you spray em in the eyes with wasp spray they wont come back.

Not sure how I know this

 

It's not your average used car. It's a retired police officers car, with a turbo

 

If you sprayed me in the eyes with wasp spray, I wouldn't come back either

 

Sometimes it’s not a bad idea to distance from the corporate environment.

Coat the scoop with this primer for much better adhesion an no more peeling, we use it in our paint shop on fiberglass, plastic as a promoter.

That stinks about your dryer Adam. Lucky for you, the Subie has the low rear wing so you can hang your wet clothes on it and go for a drive. The breeze will have them dry in no time.

Retired police officers cars are very special used cars. It was driven very sedately and never went over the speed limit or was used as the chase car in one of our pursuit driving classes

Paint prep went well. I did find a little chip on the front edge of the scoop after I got the paint off. It was in the area where the paint started to flake off first so I guess it was a rock that caused it. It’s been threatening to rain since about 1:00 so I didn’t do any painting. It’s so humid I’m sure it would have messed it up. More rain in the forecast for tomorrow

 

My oil man still uses the old Bacharach Fyrite combustion test kit like below.
He has been using them for over 50 years - he is not just good but damn good.

 

I was thinking the same.

 

He is not whizzing in my truck...

Spent most of the day working on my friends rusty GMC truck frame.



There was about an inch of accumulated dirt (damp) in the bottom of the frame.

The drain holes are about 3/16".
Fortunately the damage was confined to the light gauge box section.

 

I'd come back -- later... and bloody mad to boot!
