I remember well back in 2001, very soon after I purchased a 1st gen Tacoma TRD OR, I received a very detailed customer survey from Toyota corporate. I thought, wow that's really different that they seem to care what I think of my new Toyota truck. Since then, each new Toyota I've purchased, in '07, '12, and now in '24, I've seen zero feedback from Toyota. I can only assume that corporate Toyota cares not what new customers think. Too bad, they were my only go-to vehicle source.

They do care and there are still surveys, there might have been a clerical error who knows.

The dealer has the most to gain from it, so if you're really concerned about this, make sure they have your info.

Some dealers will intentionally fudge information to prevent a survey to a deal that has gone sour.

Also I have purchased 2 toyotas recently and neither got a survey. It's random and not a sure thing.

Lastly. Is it really a big deal?
