I cheaped out and decided to try a cheap knockoff grill from China. They're all over the place on eBay, but about $100 less expensive on AliExpress.

    https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256807149446683.html?

Install took about 2 hours, but I was pretty careful and methodical.
LED light bar (pretty low grade) is wired directly to Aux 1 and works fine.

The "Raptor" lights are something I may need help with. I think I'd like to have them wired into the DRLs, but not sure the best place to tap into that. Guessing they draw very little current, so shouldn't be much of an issue. Alternatively, I suppose I could easily wire them into Aux 2 or something.

Fit and finish is pretty decent. Can't say it's any worse than the factory TRD OR grille.

That looks really good. I assume you could swap the LED if you wanted for a better one.

How was the camera integration/mount, any issues?
Did it come with the TOYOTA letters or was that a separate purchase?

Camera integration was direct bolt in/plug and play. Remove camera and bracket from OEM grill and bolts right in. No camera angle issues that I can tell.

It did come with the TOYOTA letters and a spare "T" and "A" (because we all love T&A)

The cheap LED bar appears to be made specifically for this grille, and bolts into the back with several screws. I assume with some fab work you could swap it with something better.

"Raptor" lights wired into Aux 2. Works just fine and they turn off with the ignition.

Nice work. I was interested in these but nobody had posted this yet. Thank you. It looks a little more matte than gloss like the OEM pro?

are there actual cutouts in the bezel for the raptor lights, as a difference from OEM?

It’s an impressive reproduction. The fact the light and camera mounting is already designed into it makes an easier decision install than the real deal!

    The font looks very off...

While i'm surprised with the good quality of the plastic and working lighting, the squished font is instantly noticeable vs OEM.

Yes, it's certainly matte, likely more like the Trail Hunter. But, the lettering is more of a silver.

The raptor lights are built right in. You have to screw in the LED light bar, but the Raptor lights are already mounted in their cutouts.

I would say this is NOT a copy of the TRD Pro OR the Trail Hunter grill! This is someone's attempt to replicate it with a few other things like Raptor lights.

This is by no means an attempt to directly copy the TRD Pro or Trail Hunter grille (or maybe it is and they suck) . It has Raptor lights built in, and I'm certain that the font is not OEM perfect.

true the price is very appealing with the added convenience of prewired lighting. if I wasn't getting a good deal on the oem grille i would probably order these and find aftermarket 3rd gen letters to diy fix the font.

I mean $200 vs $900 it is almost worth a try to see how she goes and if one likes the look then in time maybe upgrade to the OEM one.

My thoughts exactly. I expect that it might last long enough for the OEM stuff to drop in price, and the after-market to increase the LED bar mounting options etc.

The Raptor lights aren't a must for me, but this one came with them. I could easily be happy with the OEM style.
And I have no great expectations that the LED light bar, or the Raptor lights will last for a long time. When they die, they get turned off :)
