My local dealer is sitting on 10-15 new Tundra's. I've never seen that many unsold over the last dozen years.

I'm surprised they are giving you the cold shoulder.

This is the end of the month, you would think they would be desperate to move some inventory.

I was thinking the same. I really don’t get it. I mean is the best they can do really $400 off what they’re asking with $3000 in dealer fees with a 12.5% interest rate? Not that I’d finance with them but geez….

Those 21' low mileage Pro and Platinum Tundy's are holding their value extremely well, that's the one to have for sure.

My bad it was 12.32:rofl:IMG_6897.pngAlthough I didn’t ask, maybe that included Maine sales tax which wouldn’t be that terrible of an OTD price I guess, our sales tax is 5.5%

Slowes did the same thing - 31.99% for everyone.
They (Synchrony Bank) also have a little extra dirty they pull... :drevil:

    Example:
Month 1 you have a balance and pay part of it - naturally the remaining amount is subject to interest. Fair enough.

Month 2 you pay the balance off before the due date - should be good, amirite?

    WRONG!!

Month 3 you get a bill for the interest on the amount you owed and paid off.

55k for a 3 year old Tundra Pro with 46k miles seems absurd to me, but so do housing prices these days. Sign of the times I guess. Isn't that about what they were new?

    Yes I do
    Some
I told my wife they'll probably give us our money back and sell it for twice the price when I get finished messing with it.

I'm not sure what the problem is; its in a trust but; we agreed on a price, I met with their trust lawyer and he said we should close on it within a month.....that was 9 weeks ago. o_O

So I called him like 2 weeks ago and he said there's a dispute in the family...so I called the gal that I know (her brother is executor of the will) and she said he's (her brother) being a horse's ass about the other 4 acres (that I'm not buying) and blah blah blah. I guess I'll just keep on waiting.

    And another thing....
My wife and I were involved in a (smallish) care wreck June 18th (we were actually on our way to sign papers on the property we're buying)...anyhow, her car is still sitting on the lot at the car fixin place.
The insurance company of the gal that hit us is covering a rental for my wife, but still.....
I've been in their office 2 times to ask about her car and all I've gotten is the 'we're working on it' line, but apparently they aren't working on it cause its still sitting on their lot. I havent been up there in a month....not one single time have they contacted me. Neither has the trust lawyer. No call. No text. No, 'hey, I aint forgot about you'. Nothing.

It amazes me that people can run a business with a 'we'll get back with you' attitude and still stay in business.

    Long rant.....:sorry:

    Oh....
I also contacted a lawyer a month ago just to make sure the gals insurance company doesn't try to pull a sneaky on us (we dont want anything, just want someone else besides us to pay for getting her car fixed)....he hasnt contacted me either.
