Ark splash guards in place easy install… I mean it’s a splash guard, there were two screws. IMG_1639.jpgThey look good, cover up the goods well, better than Toyota did; shoulda come this way from the factory.

With the taller side pieces on top it looks like it's designed to carry long items above the roof. Of course you'd need a twin on the back (minus the grate) and then you could carry long lumber/pipe/whatever.

The area has a weird unexplainable vibe about it. Almost like the mountains were pulling me in daring me to hike them and explore. I can see why people vanish there. :der:

Damn! Sorry that happened to you. Did he take out the guy in front of you, too? I noticed he didn’t hit his brakes until he realized it was just him vs the wall.

More inspiration to get my dash cam installed!

There wasn't much of a shoulder to pull over too because of the k-rail, everyone that made it over was kinda spread out. Highway Patrol was on the scene quick to move us out of the way of moving traffic. I never talked to anyone other than the Patrol Officer and gave him my info, and he gave me a link to submit my dashcam video.

Dude, I was so pissed, but at the same time relieved I have video to absolve me of any fault. You can't trust anyone nowadays.

Some jokeass passed me at 10 MPH faster, already partly off road, then hit the dirt-median and rolled the truck 4+ times across the freeway and onto the road paralleling the freeway ... a few pictures that proved I did not cause any of it ...

That was true 20 years ago. I was backing out of space and a guy came racing through the parking lot trying to make a green light and plowed into me. At the scene he admitted fault but when I called my insurance company, he had already called and said I was at fault. Luckily I had a picture that showed the position of my car when he hit me and that he was cutting through the parking spaces behind me. Typically if you are backing up you are immediately at fault.
