    Can I adjust the volume (down) of the Navigation assist in my 3rd Gen ? It's really loud even with the stereo off.

    Yes, I believe there’s a setting for that. DL the owners manual off the Toyota site, it’s much easier to navigate with the search function.

    So I found the online manual, thanks Chew, and while the index mentions volume control, there appears to be no addition details. I am going to try mashing buttons. If I find a solution, I will post it here. Thanks everyone.

    I have to look in to this too. I don't have the onboard nav but the Google maps lady is a but too loud for me. I know there was a menu somewhere to change it but forgot where. Just turning the volume knob when it's speaking doesn't change it

    Have you guys tried to lower the volume on your steering or radio while the voice is talking. I can do it on my phone but never really tried it on the Nav as it is not loud at all. That is if yiu have the on board nav not the google or any other types
