Leaving today and coming back early Monday morning. Going to be a fun weekend. One of my cousins is celebrating being married for 50 years. Going to be a big party.

It happens and it feels good.
About sums it up. Welcome back! ;)

@Ridgewalker1 TY for the pics. Looks like a great place to hike and camp.

Good morning. Not the best day to turn off the alarm clock and go back to sleep for an additional hour. Off to the gym then back home to pack for the beach. Going to be a fun weekend even if there will be a lot of traffic at the beach.

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! MRI done. Hald me listen to 60's oldies. Took 6 songs I knew by heart. I used to like mowing, but have to do it again today. Rain this weekend so... when we get a Memorial Day and Fourth with no rain, it's going to rain on Labor Day. Be watching the Texas game Saturday, and probably a few others.
    First PT visit is tomorrow.

This was 1st generation Trex, new stuff is just a smidge thinner and less wide. So I get to start the 25 year warranty anew. In 25 years I'll be most likely
drooling on myself and wearing diapers so I won't give a damn.

Really screwed up my right ankle. Was out camping with the boys at "Man Camp" early May. Camp host shut off the generator and lights but forgot to tell me. I was on my 3rd or 4th JD and Ginger Ale
and kicked something in the dark and went down. All I remember was the guys saying "Man Down!" Didn't hurt at first but has gotten progressively worse. Had an MRI done a couple of weeks ago, results are: partially torn Achilles and "A lot of scar tissue" I'm supposed to be wearing a boot but you can probably guess how that's going. Just messaged my Podiatrist for some prescription meds.

Good morning. Went out to two venues for music last night. Got in ar 11pm. Raining out so we are going to hang two 2X6X8 in the garage to get some bikes and other items hung on the wall. I actually enjoy small 2 to 4 hour projects. I am sure ther is music in my future for tonight.

Good morning and happy Friday to all! I'm on vacation next weeks so I'm trying to tie up all the loose ends here at work so I don't screw my coworkers any more than necessary. Sadly, no one else in the office will take care of any of my stuff while I'm gone so I know when I return I'll have a pile of stuff to do again.

    Come on 2:30!

Labor Day…another great holiday to stay at home and not go to the mountains!

Kettlebell day! After laying off them for over two weeks (Covid first, then camping trip) this week has been tough working out. Good for me getting back into them!

A bit of yard work after exercising if my energy holds up. Also need to reload some 7mm-08 with cheap bullets to get the granddaughter to the range to start preparing for her January Texas Aoudad and whitetail hunt. She needs to practice field positions out to at least 300 yards.

Yummy dinner last night. My better half made us grilled salmon with brown rice and broccoli! Delicious!

Everyone follow the Dr’s orders to get healthy! Enjoy the day and get a bit of sunshine!

    Morning all:

One of dem days! Got a bunch of small projects to do, nothing major or must do, but all time consuming and need to be done.
One of them is reinforcing a stan can 5 gal. gas can nozzle cap, I just did it to one where the cap split, going to do the same to another one before it splits. It's not easy to get a replacement for the old 5 gal. metal cans, it looks like they do make a multi fit adapter, but no one has it in stock to check for fit, if my "fix" doesn't work I'll need to order one and :fingerscrossed: that it has the proper threads to fit the can, and if it does I'll order another one.
It's either that or buy the new cans with those latest and greatest "environment friendly" POS nozzles on them, and then replace the nozzles with regular nozzles that are readily available for the 5 gal. plastic cans. :annoyed:

Interested to see what you come up with. I bought an old galvanized can at a yard sale with a bad cap. Not sure if we're talking the same can or not.
