So far no, but it is rather close for my liking. I’ll keep an eye on it over time but I think it’ll be fine

DAC/Softopper tent arrived yesterday. Got it setup, took less than 5 mins. Seam sealed and let dry for a few hours. Super easy.
Ready to go camping this weekend!

I love that setup! Currently I have a Napier bed tent, which is great. Eventually would like to do your setup, so as to have the topper.

A plastic propane base. Many companies make them. They cost about $15. They do a good job of keeping the tank stable.

Figured I would try this… driving into the sun in a silver truck is no bueno! May take it further if it helps!

Getting the truck ready for the next parade. This is the big one, so I need to make sure its all setup right. The dance coaches will be sitting in the seats in the back so they can direct the team. I need to figure out the best spot for the speaker in there so the girls can dance to it.
I am going to brace the 10x2 beams in the middle to make sure its good and solid. The seats themselves are bolted to super strut, then those will be bolted to the cross beams.

(tables, random wood, and topper will not be there for the parade)

Use a long steel L-bracket to prevent sagging in the beam. You can use a router to recess the angle-brackets into the wood. But ... big one ... double-up the 2x10s with screws to make effectively one piece.

How about mounting on the roof of the cab, facing forward, with a cooler for the beer mounted between the seats?

Last parade the coaches just had lawn chairs in the back, but only going 2-3 mph they dont need much to stay in the seats.

Extra note ... "truss screws" (for roof trusses) have very flat pan heads that will significantly reduce risk of scratches on hands where the L-braces are attached.

In mail today, OEM, new, front, LCA, bushings!! I had Whiteline poly bushings, but they seem in rougher shape than the originals after less than 20k miles. Jeez.

Anyone have experience/advice pushing in new oem bushings at home? I need to figure out if I actually got the tools required to complete this task cleanly.

Edit: Anyone near Tampa, who might allow me to use their press?

Starting the install of some butyl mat, CCF and MLV along with a 4.1 amp and 10” kicker to go with the speaker swap.

Will see how much extra material I have leftover. If there’s enough I’ll stick what I have up there. I know it will be beneficial to do that.
