I have a 2011 Tacoma that needs a new steering rack. I’m a mechanic by trade so definitely no stranger to sourcing and pricing out parts. I just would like to get some opinions on best aftermarket (Not OE) replacement racks for our trucks. My truck has 250k miles on it so a new unit from a dealer is not an option for me. Thanks in advance!

I bought one from rock auto and installed it myself. Works great so far but I've only got a couple hundred miles on the truck.

I know not the answer you're looking for but the local mechanic that I had work on my truck and who works on tons and tons and tons of Toyota's recommended I only use OEM for the rack and that for that part, specifically, he didn't recommend anything but OEM.

Not sure why mileage would matter. My truck has 210k miles and that didn't stop me from going with OEM. But then again I plan to keep my truck for another 10yrs and 100k.
