4th gen diff housing size and clearance

Does the hybrid/TRD manual with the 9.5” ring gear hang any lower than the automatics/non-hybrids/non-TRD MT that have 8.2” rear end? Or is the housing the same on everybody’s?

Would like a measurement comparison with a non-hybrid. If anyone is game.

 

This a is non-hybrid A/T TRD Off-road w 8.25” gear showing, 9.5” of ground clearance to the naked pumpkin.
Actually not even sure a rear diff cover can be bolted on like on your thread becuase there’s no bolt holes…?


This dealership doesn’t have any hybrids or M/T so I don’t have any comparison. Can anyone measure up if they have one?
