Hazard switch inside 2010 Toyota Tacoma 2.7 regular cab

    Can anyone tell me if the hazard switch is supposed to flash when you push it in? On my bmw it flashes red but not my Toyota.

    Stock (99.999%) OEM Bed Floor Mat, Front Bed Rail Cargo Net and hooks, Auto-Dim mirror w/Compass and outside Temperature display, TRD Pro Grille, Uni-Filter air pump modification, WeatherTech floor liners f/r. (winter) OEM All-Weather floor mats (summer).
    Not on my 2014 either. It's illuminated at night, but doesn't flash. FWIW, I think this is the first vehicle that I have owned that doesn't.
