I wonder if you can pack grease in there if you pull the cv axle out. Where are you headed?

 

Yeah they look super useful.

 

I was thinking about that, but they're sealed bearings so idk if there'd be any point.

I cant seem to find any posts or pictures anywhere of a tacoma having one fail to the point of a wheel falling off or anything at least...

 

I think when humming turns to grinding that's when you need to freak out.

Yeah! Gf and I are doing a loop around northern az and southern Utah; hitting north rim Grand Canyon tomorrow, sand hollow Sunday, Zion, Bryce Canyon, goblin valley, Moab and monument valley for a day each.

Do you have a press that can do them as well?

 

Went through moab yesterday, it's quiet from what I have seen. They had a bunch of water go through recently. Be curious what the trails look like

That big sand hill on the right next to the main park entrance for arches had a bunch of standing water at the bottom. I was tempted to stop and get a picture there but it was still coming down pretty good and I didn't want to get my shoes wet
