    Possibly too much oil? Dip stick has been hard to read historically

    Looks like an incompatible fluid, such as water or ethylene glycol.

    depends on age, mileage, and drive cycles.

    lots of short trips will build up moisture in the motor oil.

    Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
    Short trips are the worst thing for an engine. You need to get the engine up to full running temp to evaporate off moisture that collects. Getting up to full temp will also benefit your catalytic converters too.
