2020 3rd Gen. Tacoma TRD Sport - Accident

Hi all,
I own a 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport. Was involved in an accident the other day where a vehicle attempted to pass me on the left as I was turning left, causing the front right of their vehicle to collide with my left side front (basically t-boned my front left wheel well). Attempting an assessment of the damage and noticed the attached/circled in my engine bay that appears to be an inward protruding dent, located on the driver's side behind the battery. Looking if anyone can advise if this appears to be damaged (in my head this area was flush prior to the collision). Thank you in advance, assuming it is damaged, if you can share any photographs from your undamaged Tacoma of the same area, it would be appreciated (I've been googling Tacoma engine bay images for an hour and still don't know if I'm just crazy or not).

Yes that's all fucked up. It's made to crumple.

That's a lot of sloppy sealer too. They sure don't make them like they used too. Mines a 2016. Last of the good ones

 

Your truck will be fine. If it had been an off road, it would probably be totaled.

 

Sorry to hear about the accident... Hard to tell if the inner fender moved, it looks like it may have been a little, but it can probably be pulled back. I'd be more concerned about the frame damage from the wheel being pushed in.

 

Seems like Fender has to go, and so the bumper. I would assume around 3-4K from repair shop.

Most expensive part there is headlight, which seems ok.

 

2015 is the last of the good ones - not 2016
