6112/5160's full skids S&B custom OV tune RR7-H (Wildpeak)
    Greetings, frens.
History - After installing 5160's/6112's, 18 months later I have a serious squeak that I believe have narrowed down to the driver side UCA bushing. I think I set it on clip 3/4 during install because I wasn't really installing them for lift, just wanted a better sus than the stock Hitachi (sport). About a yr ago I swapped from stock shoes to Wildpeak (6 ply) 265/70 17 on RR7-H (0 offset). I bought the SPC uca's to get it aligned (and keep it hopefully) and get rid of the squeak. Might go up another setting or 2 for a hybrid front bumper/winch that's next on the list, but no rush.
So I'm about to install these SPCs and my question is this. If you have them, what has been your experience? Am I going to be chasing annoying sounds from these x-axis bushings for the next 20k miles? I like a ball joint because its maintenance free and truck is a daily, so I'm not getting into anything that would require the articulation of a uni-ball. I can easily search threads for prior posts, but I understand they have changed their design a few times and some venders still ship the "old" bushings, so I'd rather start fresh with people that have the new bushings, and have recent experience with this setup. I really want a quiet truck again. Don't feel like it should sound like a carnival ride with only 35k miles (2021). TIA for the time. I will be cutting the bolt for install, not bending sheet metal on a "new" truck because that just sounds ridiculous. Seems pretty straight forward, just don't want to commit until I'm confident these are the right uca's for me.

My SPC bushings and ball joints were toast after 15k. Was cheaper to buy new ones then have them rebuilt. I don’t rock crawl, moderate off roading in central Az. I actually went back to Oem upper control arms with no regrets, other than buying SPC in the first place. Running 6112’s up front.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I started the return and am about 90% sure these are going back. Just playing with them out of the box for the first time and I can see grease bubbling out of the bj boot if I put any pressure on it at all. Really makes me wonder how it's supposed to stay sealed under load, if simply squeezing the boot a bit exploits the leak. No bueno
