Greetings I'm looking for some seasoned guidance.
My primary concern is a 2" front and rear lift with 5160+6112s going to significantly strain the shocks or have a very negative effect on ride quality and travel vs stock

I have a 2020 Tacoma 4x4 TRD off-road with the dual cab and short bed.

Aluminum skids, steel sliders and approx 230lbs between a tonneau and rack mounted to the bed.

I'm currently planning on adding the wheelers progressive AAL to my rear end to compensate for sag as my leafs currently have a slightly negative arch and ride almost on top of the OL spring.

When I bought the AAL, I didn't realize that the specced 1.5" lift assumes you remove the OL spring (for more articulation) although in my case I need to keep the OL for occasional towing and hauling. Because of this I think it's going to provide closer to 2" of lift, which sits right near the max configurable limit of the 6112s in the front.

I looked around at other leaf options such as the 1.5" lift GS HD pack, but suspect the truck would ride like an unloaded dump truck when I don't have my gear in the back or a trailer connected, which is 98% of the time.

Everything else seems to provide 2"+ of lift or lack overload springs, aside from maybe custom ordering Alcans. 1.5 seemed like a sweet spot in terms of suspension travel and wheel to tire aesthetics though, as I could easily upgrade to 265/75r16, keeping my current method wheels opposed to going with 285's which are primarily in 17" and would potentially require a bit of cutting.

Is 2" of lift really pushing it with the 5160/6112 combo and going to sacrifice ride quality or at heightened risk of blowing the shocks?

For the fronts, should I use two 1/4(1/2") spacers on top of the towers, knocking the c clips down a bit so I have more travel?

I do plan on gradually adding more weight to the rear with the BA bumper, RTT and batwing canopy which would put me closer into the HD spring weight range.

Here's how my rear leafs currently sit with a full tank

I believe i'm just over thinking things,
I swing by a dealer and compared two used TRD pros and a TRD off-road against my truck to compare ride height of my setup vs a stock, unloaded 3g.

+2 front and back will put me pretty close to the ride height of an unloaded TRD pro.

Measured on driver's side from ground to center bottom of fender. All compared vehicles has 265/70r16 tires

    My current trd offroad height
    Rear 35, 1/3
    front 34 3/4

    Stock TRD off-road, unladen
    Rear 36, 1/3
    Front 35

    Pro
    Rear 37,1/4
    Front 36 1/2

My consensus is to just move forward with 2/2 lift, I'll initially be a bit level as my rear currently has 1" of sag vs 1/3 in front but the factory rake will likely return when I add the weight of a BA front bumper plus winch.
