The other day on the interstate a piece of wood hit the grill on my TRD Pro. Luckily the grill did not crack. Unfortunately, two of the letters fell off on my grill lol. I didn't know these letters came off like the ones on the fake PRO grills.

Does Toyota sell the letters on their own or do I have to buy another grill?

Are the letters from the fake grills a direct fit? Wouldn't mind going for an ALL black look with black letters instead of grey.

    Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the letter mounting is different between the fake/aftermarket/imitation grilles. This is one of the differentiators.

From looking at Chloe Kuo's grille comparison video, it doesnt look like the OEM grille letters are replaceable since the black part of the letters are molded with the grille. I guess it would depend if only the letters were damaged and not the black part.

Not my pic but this is what happened to mine. The grey part of the letters snap on to the grill.

I know on the fake ones, some are screwed onto the grill as a plate and the other style the letters snap on to the grill but include the back overlay and not just the gray portion like on the original OEM TRD Pro grills.

Leveled with Bilstein 5100 shocks, Falken Rubitrek AT 265/75 tires, Redline hood struts, R4T tailgate lock, Matt Gecko LED strips in bed and under hood, WeatherTech hood guard, OEM bed mat, Husky floor mats, Carhart seat covers, Grille replacement with Toyota letters, Sony AX6000 head unit, OTT lite/mild tune, and an occasional splash of fuel additive.
My knock-off grille letters/screws seemed fragile, so I added some JB weld to screws and backing. That did the trick, letters won’t ever come off.

I've wondered this as well. Looked at changing the color on the OEM TRD Pro grill but all the aftermarket companies claim their do not fit any other grills. I thought it was a bit of CYA on their behalf but looks to be a design difference.
