I am wanting to get some steelies for my 1999 tacoma with the tundra brake upgrade. I have picked some out and not sure if they will fit without ordering them and trying. https://www.roughcountry.com/product/steel-wheel-rc516883sl. Rough country's website says they will work but not sure if anybody has tried it or not.

    Without spacers, probably not.

No fit. the wheel barrel size isn't the only factor to consider, the inward lip on each stamped hole in the wheel may interfere with the caliper as well.

I test fit 17x9 procomp steelies and they barely cleared my stock calipers while static FWIW. I had about a sheet of paper worth of clearance between the wheel windows and the caliper. I would expect it to run while driving due to imperfections/flex in the wheel

Fifteens will not fit with Tundra brakes, just too small a diameter.
I have sixteens on mine, with Tundra brakes, and I originally went with a one inch spacer, clears fine.
A little more investigation and I can go with a half inch spacer, extended studs and my wheel will clear.
I suspect these steel wheels are all about the same, and I have Vision 84 D wheels.
You won't really know until you try them....

you could also shop for tundra wheels since the bcd is the same, just keep an eye on the backspacing.

If they work on a Tundra it stands to reason they would work on a Tundra converted tacoma:)
