So my 23 OR just has 3,000 miles on it, as I have more than one vehicle.

Anyway I noticed two very small oil spots on my garage floor under the deferential, upon inspection, sure enough there was gear oil on the bottom of the diff. I tightened all the nuts to 28 FT/LB "that's the spec I found" two of the nuts were not 100% torqued down. I wiped it down real good and I'll recheck after every trip. Obviously the truck is still under warranty, but damn! how many of you have had this issue? it looks like this has been occurring for like a decade or more. I bought the truck August-26 of 23, so far I'm less than impressed, it still has a slight pull to the right as well, three alignments including a specialty alignment shop.

    Ranger Raptor time? lol.

You might try swapping the 2 front wheels side to side to see if it fixes the pull. A road force tire balance might be needed. Otherwise, find a new alignment shop. I'd have a dealer make a note of the diff leak so it's documented for warranty purposes.

My 2017 has been pretty solid for over 7 years. :notsure:

I found a really good alignment shop, they even do lifts and mods on Toyota trucks, Porsches and what not. I may try swapping the tires around, I doubt that's it but you never know.

Here's the printout. Those numbers it should drive nicely. But something isn't right, I'm actually getting to believe that the frame may not be right?

We've seen a few last run tacoma diffs leak from the welds on the rear. It's not uncommon.

So a new housing would be in order. Maybe I'll complain about the howling between 50-60, I was just going to live with that. I'm not loving this thing. I'm done with Toyota, I've had much better luck with both Ford and GM at this point.

Well after a 50 mile round trip everything is still dry. The two nuts were definitely not torqued to speck, and a few of the others moved a hair. Hopefully that all it was. I'm also thinking that the temperature played a role, it was 100° last Friday, so a couple loose fasteners and hot thin oil.

I suggest everyone check the torque on their differential carrier nuts.

After owning them gms make me shudder. New England rust heaps on wheels. Undersized brakes sucked as well. Maybe it's different now.

Somebody bought Ranger Raptor in my location, I heard it cost them over $80,000 fully loaded.
Apparently, you went back to dealer about slight pull to the right? I have to learn how to read.

I did, they performed an alignment, but it didn't help. I also went to a independent alignment shop that helped some. The truck still has a slight favor to the right though. I may swap the tires around and see. Beyond that it is, what it is I suppose.
