So I currently have an Eibach Pro-2r lift with a .5" puck in front making my front have 3" of lift and my rear having 2" of lift, but now my rear is 1" lower than my front, I want to bring factory rake back by replacing my whole leaf pack with an OME 2" leaf pack, the only thing I'm confused about and need help answering is would my 1.5" strut that i currently have in only make the leaf create .5" lift or if the leaf pack would be fine and create a 2" lift but would just have my rear strut permanently extended out?

If you could help answer my question that would be great, let me know if i need to re-explain, ill put pictures of my trucks lean too, I just dont want to spend a bunch of money and for it to not work IMG_6964.jpg

The shock adds 0 lift only effects dampening. All rear lift is determined by the leaf pack/blocks thst are installed. Side note my ome pack sagged fast and carried 0 load my dobinsons pack has been 100X better overall so far.

If I understand correctly, you're replacing your rear stock leaf springs with 2" lift leaf springs.

Your stock rear shocks should have enough travel range to accommodate the 2" of leaf spring lift but your new down droop will now be limited by approximately the same amount.

you have no lift in the rear right now? no add a leaf or block? ome leafs arent a good option for the 3rd gens imo.

just for the sake of arguing your actually wrong. rear shocks can absolutely add lift. for example a shock with 7/8" diameter shaft and 250psi nitrogen charge has 150 pounds of applied force each. thats 300lbs extra lifting up rear of truck. on my personal truck no shocks vs icon shocks installed added over an inch of lift.

How much do you constantly carry? I dont carry anything so, but might get a GFC in the future but those are pretty light

Mines a dclb with 112's, day to day weight is around 300lbs full trip load is likely closer to 500 and I can tow a boat ontop of that. On a short bed that doesn't haul much I would be looking at 110 pack that you could bump up with additional leafs down the road if need be. Somthing I never see noted on here is specifying a long bed vs short bed when recommending leafs.

Mine looks rediculas when un loaded but perfect when loaded.

That's with gear for a week long trip for 2 people.

And I went from completely blown shocks to brand new 2.5's and saw 0 change so I wouldn't state that as the norm. Same applies to numerous other trucks I have done suspension on.

the shocks dont provide 1.5" lift. they are designed to be used with 1.5" lift
