Yes, this is the exact issue I have with my 22-300sm. I thought the bike needed a valve adjustment, but it runs practically out of control. What can it be?

As mentioned, the loud rhythmic sounds dropped after a bike and chain clean and grease. Still noisy overall, but that's just the engine and running gear in general. I'll add in also check your chain sag, I had recently adjusted mine but it also helped quieten things down a touch a while back.

 

It makes sense. I'll wait for the final result.

 

mine only has like 2 hours on it lol so no sounds on mine yet!

 

Hit 102 on the dash topped out in 5th gear on a long stretch on my z650. Felt very planted and stable with one gear left to run out. New helmet was very nice ls2 challenger carbon

 

The folks we bought the Rebel from on Friday, they were talking about how many people had shown up, looked, and left, or not shown up at all. They said they were gonna make a costco run as soon as we left. But when we pulled in towing a trailer they immediately thought, "oh, they're serious! so much for costco".

 

Got out for a ride this weekend with Josh Herrin (MotoAmerica rider) who hosted a group ride from Ducati Newport Beach to a local biker hangout called Cook's Corner. The pack was quickly separated but I tailed him for duration of the ride. That dude rides like an animal. I did some riding that I'm not proud of, but I got some pretty cool GoPro footage!

And I'll add one of the wife practicing for the Permit test on her new bike, too. She put on quite a few miles and hours riding in the culdesac. She'll be retaking it this Friday.

That's sweet, had I known I probably would have joined lol. Was in Newport twice this weekend.

 

I have one of those Mission brand neck buffs that you soak and they evaporate and cool, but in the Salt Lake City weather, only lasted like 10 mins.

Greatest solution was stopping for a part at the dealer I bought my old Triumph from halfway home, and the maintenance guy hit me with the garden hose out back as I was getting ready to leave.

 

I'm sure he'll do another one. He does them every so often when there's a break in MotoAmerica racing. NGL, when I saw Max Wrist show up, I almost left.

 

Lmfao. If not leave, definitely a back of the pack kind of day.

Hardly anything listed on CL around here anymore it seems. Seems a waste of $5. BUT... I did buy my bike on CL. I bet he coulda got more money for it selling on FB Marketplace. WAY bigger audience. Worked out for me, though!!

he has a bit of a reputation for 2 things

1) riding like an idiot
2) taking/picking up strangers along on his rides and pushing them past their limits for content
