Haha I know I can’t complain about heat to you valley folks. But it has been a warm summer up here for sure.

I FULLY understand that! So this “Climate Change” must be a real thing⁉️
My wife and I are in our mid 60’s with no kids and will most likely be 6’ under in 20 years.
But I really feel for kids nowadays as it only “looks” like it’s going to get worse.
I listen to a radio show saying if this trend continues the Phoenix area would most likely uninhabitable by 2050. Florida getting ready to be hit with another Hurricane. Can’t really blame insurance companies not wanting to write homeowners insurance policies in Florida.
My apologies to Ryan and everyone else for my rant so back to our regular topic…
Also Ryan has your fairly new employer considered you for that position you were wanting? Sorry if you said so earlier and I didn’t see where you mentioned it. But pretty sure with all your schooling, great attitude and awesome skills it should be yours soon! Oh, how’s the new tow rig running?

Thanks. I’m super happy with how it came out. Also proved its approach angle gains last weekend in sand hollow. Didn’t hit it once pulling up to obstacles

Yeah Im just glad to see someone else had the same idea and I didnt even realize it was you!

Sat there thinking "This (front hitch for winch) has to be done somewhere. I cant be that crazy."

What would you ballpark the total weight of the bumper to be?

Less than 50lbs with the skids. It’s less than one full stick of tubing which is about 40lbs. So figure after the skids and some gussets it’s right about there. Lower skid is steel but the upper portion is aluminum.

Move the decimal a few places and you’re pretty close on the sale price actually.

If I remember correctly you said something about getting ready to start a big cage job?
I still like you to do a job for me someday. (the same frame notch & sway-bar mount on the diff)

Flex test for clearance check. Clocked the top caps a few degrees to be safe but looking good now. And couldn’t resist at least a quick dash through some whoops and holy cow what a difference in flow on these vs the old shocks. Can really feel the difference right out of the box. Once front end parts are here and I get that all squared away it’ll be time for a proper tuning session and we’ll be eating all the whoops again.
