The compressor is in the center all the way in the front of the bed. The hose and 4 nail guns are in the top box on the right. Cords are behind the boxes on the right.

Got tired of the grey/silver color of the factory TRD skid plate so I had it powder coated black and got new red letters. Also had a buddy who does PPF to put amber ppf on the headlights. It's not for everyone I know but I prefer amber to the bright white lights.

Can you share details on the contents of your trauma kit? ( parts list? ) Maybe start a separate thread? Thanks! I also have an Access Cab and like your use of space in the center.

    Thanks - excellent tip! '

That's by Johnsville, CA. Depending on the route I take from Reno to Tahoe the elevation gain can be from 3000 to almost 4500 feet in about 9 miles.

Get away from them flatlands, Tex! Plenty of 500ft-1000ft drop-off cliff-roads, many can only take 2 vehicles if one is half-riding up the hill beside the road. Good times!

Striped everything off the box including the plastic box caps. Scrubbed the inside of the Bestop. When it dries I will seam seal it, I ready don't have a seam leak problem, just maintenance, going to run a couple of strips of that aluminum H Vac tape on top of the box before installing the box caps, install butyl tape under the Bestop rails, and instill rocblock tailgate trim. Hopefully I can stop the majority of the dust and water from getting into the bed when in dusty conditions

What brand cap? I've had 3 ARE toppers over the years and the dealer told me they stopped selling Leer because of paint warranty issues. Said Leer wouldn't back them.

For some reason I was thinking this took place closer to downtown Minneapolis. I worked in Minneapolis for about 4 months in the early '80s. Installed and commissioned a long distance telephone central office switch back in the long distance resale carrier war days. SBS Satellite Business Systems.
The point being I worked all over the USA and that area, Minneapolis/St Paul was about as chill as a metropolitan area as you could get. About the most violence I witnessed were the High School hockey moms shouting at each other. I guess it's stereotyping but when I think of this type of event I'm not thinking suburban Minneapolis because of how the place was when I worked there. I guess no place is immune to be shot up anymore. My prayers go out to your children and all the others involved and hoping things can return to a semblance of a safe environment.
