Nothing. You can't.
All you can do is show up on your days to wok and do the best you can.
If your best isn't good enough, they can find someone to help you. Or replace you.
But it sounds like they can't keep workers. So I doubt they would replace you.

Just do your best and let it be "what it is".

 

I've gotten the "washing dishes" part down, but I'm just not fast, and I already got a "written coaching" for not doing the best job cleaning the dishwashing area; I just don't like staying past my shift!

I can understand that. But I at 8pm, what else is there to do?
You can't go home a mow the yard.
I'm the type that will stay late if it doesn't interfere with other things that have to be done.
If it's overtime........I'm in.

I don't like being called in on days off..........
I'd rather stay late, than come in on a day off.

 

You make a very good point, but I do like to relax and watch TV at night. My shift is 12pm to 8pm; Amanda's is 11am to 7pm, though she generally stays until closer to 8pm because she's picking up the slack for the shitty workers...

 

I detest new gas cans with a passion. I picked up one of these a few years ago and will never use anything else.

Worth every penny. Even has auto shut off like a regular pump.

 

I put some old fashioned nozzles on my cans, will have to check that out too.

Only problem I have had with mine is it has trouble generating lift over a few feet or so. I usually have the can sitting about level with whatever I am filling. Mine only has like the 3' hose or so.

Only example off the top of my head is using it to fill my Taco with leftover gas from my mower or SxS with can sitting on ground it struggles.

Filling up my SxS or a mower/generator/pressure washer no issues with lower height.

 

I bought a bunch of nozzles and breathers to convert my spill free cans(lol), never installed them.

Wow, I just went down a Youtube worm hole. And there's a good chance I threw away some serious cash.
For some reason, Youtube recommended me "Pokémon Card videos".
Holy hell, some of those cards bring big money.

So how did I "throw money away".
My uncle's kid had a buch of those cards.
When he went he got a divorce, I was called in to help move him.
Well, he sent 1/2 his stuff to my grandparents house for "Storage".

About 2 years ago. I went through their garage and threw a bunch of that stuff away.
And I bet there were a 1,000+ of those cards. And they were form early 2000's.

My grandmother didn't want the stuff in here garage any longer.
She said if he hadn't needed it since 2008, he wont need it.

Off to the dump it all went..........

I scored this Tiffany-style light fixture out of the townhouse that I helped clear out last November, and it has been sitting at Amanda’s landlady’s house since then; Amanda and I looked online, and could not find the exact lamp, but we found similar ones for anywhere from just under $90 to more than $500.
