When plug something into my bed 110v power outlet and turn the appliance on (this case a vacuum cleaner) it powers for a second then turns off. I press the button in my cab to turn it on. It turns back on and the vacuum turns on, but only for a second and it turns off again.

Has anyone had this problem? If so, what was the root cause and how did you get it fixed?

Sounds like your trying to pull more power than it can supply, it's only a 400 watt inverter most vacuums pull more than that.

Your vacuum cleaner uses more than 400 watts.

If you are parked and have the engine running you can plug in up to 400w. If you are driving that drops to 100w.

It's pretty limited. You can do the "400 watt anytime" mod, but you can't pull more than 400w from your stock inverter.
