Wire this to your battery and just plug it in. That panel has a fairly long cord and you might be able to feed it thru the firewall. This will get the charge direct to battery and won't interfere with anything else.

2 cables come with a solar battery maintainer, one directly to the battery (like the one you've suggested) and one to the cigarret lighter. It's more convenient to use the cigarret lighter; just pull the cable out and drive, which doesn't work with tacoma, as I mentioned before. I am just going to connect it directly to the battery and place the charger on the windshield inside the truck.

Is HF customizing coupons now? Last week, I was looking online at a couple of things but hadn't gotten around to the store to get them. Today, I get the usual coupon email and was surprised to find coupons for all the items I had looked at. Coincidence?

What were they for? We can tell you if we got them or not. I haven't heard of them customizing aside from the occasional "we missed you" 20% off no exclusion ones.

I guess it's just the regular dollar days coupons.

Purchased the Doyle rivnut setter yesterday, seems like good quality and worked nicely, wish they had a pistol grip one as well for tight locations

Out of curiosity any of yall retired auto mechanics who still work on personal vehicles? I am thinking of selling off many of my Snap On socket and wrench sets and replacing them with Icon sets. Just wanted to see if anyone else had done that and regretted it greatly. I know I wont get what I paid for the Snap On tools but it seems silly to have so much money tied up in them when I dont use them very often.

    My opinion?

It costs nothing in time and/or money to keep what you have.

Thats what I've done for the last 3 years and I did spent quite a while getting the exact wrench sets I wanted while working at the dealer but its tempting to turn "profit" from selling the snap on tools into other new wood working tools which is always exciting.

I knew I was going with the nu-cu-ler option on the blackberry bushes this weekend, so I picked up a pair of yellow deer-skin gloves for $15. Worked great, turned my hands yellow. . .

Anyone have any experience with the Haulmaster hitch mount bike rack?

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Keep your Snappy’s. I will never sell my tools or boxes. For one it makes me feel far superior to anyone else in my hood. And I will be remembered when I die for the insane deals that were had when my wife sells all my shit for less than I told her I paid for it.

Don’t know anything about it but my advice is if you have a 2” hitch get a 2” bike rack. The 1 1/4” racks with a 2” adapter is always super wobbly.

I had one of these a few years ago and it is very unstable, my bike would move all over the place. I would be constantly checking to make sure the bike was still there and I ended up selling it.

Anyone here happen to have a Yukon toolbox from HF? I'm looking into getting a relatively cheap rolling box for the garage and this seems to fit the bill.

    Any experience, good or bad?
