3 inch suspension lift kit (Eibach Pro with add a leaf), 33s, Custom Roof rack, Custom front winch mount, custom dual battery system.
Hello everyone, I know that this probably has already started a thread, but I could not find it. So, if it has, please direct me to the right place.

So, my issue is that I have driveline vibrations when I am accelerating. The vibrations mainly occur under 25 mph and are amplified if I am traveling up a steep hill. So, I assume that the vibrations are worsened when more torque is being exerted on the driveline.

This started happening right after I installed my lift kit. I installed a 3 inch suspension lift from headstrong offroad. It is an Eibach Pro lift kit that came with struts, shocks, add a leaf, and upper control arms. Right after install I noticed the vibrations.

These vibrations actually got a little more noticeable over time. After a little while, something started squeaking in my driveline. So, I went ahead and replaced all of my U-Joints and the Center Carrier Bearing. The squeak stopped after this operation, however the vibrations were still there.

The time came when I wanted to resolve the vibrations. I started by getting a carrier-bearing drop kit, but that did not work. So, I then tried some axle shims, I got a 3 degree which should correspond to my lift. The vibrations were slightly better, however, they are still very present, especially when going up hill.

    Do y'all have any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance!

Possibly u joints in the driveshaft or carrier bearing is out, and clunking when shifting out of park?

Most likely (99.5%) that it is being caused by out of spec pinion angle .
It is amazing that this is little known and often misdiagnosed by even "pro" off road shops and transmission "experts"
I have been told it was everything from a carrier bearing to the torque converter , when the fix was just a set of wedge shims on the rear axle to bring the angles back in spec, you can't just throw some shims at it and hope to get lucky

If it goes on too long it could create other bearing problems

I thought I had the same issue but it turned out to be the CV axle needle bearing.

any time you do a lift and wheels/tires on these trucks you need to do the front diff needle bearing. If you havent it could be failing from the added stress

Finally swapped mine out and the vibrations are gone. Do it now if you have them!

Does the vibration go away if you switch it into 4WD?

Prior to this swap yes it did. I'm guessing it's due to the axles being engaged once 4wd is on

I believe my needle bearing needs replacement as I'm getting a humm and some vibes with my 2.5' lift.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
They will tolerate up to 2". Anything over that and issues arise, typically.

I was at 2" and it was vibrating a bit. Then 2.5" was a lot worse. Tried the driveshaft spacer, alignment, warming the truck up in the cold mornings, nothing helped. After the swap it's totally gone. One way to check is to try to jiggle the CV axle where it joins the engine. If there is a lot of play you probably need to swap out that damn needle bearing.

I ran 5100s at 1.75 for 7 years, not a single issue. Threw an OME setup (2-1/2) on it and had vibes within a week.
