When I press the button on the steering wheel to activate Siri it works fine but it never "hangs up". The dash display shows "call in progress" and the audio volume stays low instead of going back to normal. Is there a setting Im missing?

    Probably a bug.

when I use Siri, all audio settings get reset to the middle sections, and the system sounds like trash until I do a hard reset…

In addition to it not dimming or stopping the music making it impossible to hear

Goes back to normal until I want to text my friend/mom or ask pandora to play a different song… or do anything else with Siri :annoyed:lol

This and a few other bugs with the infotainment I hope get resolved in future updates. System works fine in our 24 Camry with JBL system so I know it CAN work.

Your speaker volume of whatever you’re listening to goes down when you use Siri? Because it doesn’t with anybody else yet it does in our Camry with the same set up.

    Mmmmmmm
I had this problem with my aftermarket radio.
When you use Siri, change the volume, etc, so you can have a “conversation “ with her.
My radio, Bluetooth, doing different things, has different volumes it seems so while it’s in that mode I adjust.
I know it sounds funny but, I say thank you if I say “Siri, play my music”. It replies “playing your music “.
I say “Thank you” and Siri says “you’re welcome “. And goes away.
Not saying it would work but, it will be interesting to try.

No I was talking about my original issue where it was stuck in “call in process”. Now everything works except the volume

Does anyone know how to delete Siri from the vehicle radio menu?

Disable Siri on your iPhone might do it.

Unfortunately it's a vehicle thang, not phone (i have an android and no Siri app). I dislike Toyo hard-coding a third party app just because of some corporate arrangement.

It’s the same lesson Mom’s been teaching us since kindergarten. A little kindness solves most problems.

I should try saying nice things to my 3rd gen transmission.

Funny, I thought about doing that on my 07 Taco. Didn't want to pay for a TPMS sensor and the light was driving me crazy.
