First off I realize that the auxbeam is made to be a universal kit. I’ve watched 2 different videos on the auxbeam install, but am still unsure about the acc wire and where it should properly connect in too, specifically on the 3rd gen Tacoma. Apparently the wire fuse tap included in the kit doesn’t work with the Tacoma and I have to buy an additional fuse tap? I’d say the auxbeam should turn on with the ignition (like all the other factory lights) so do I need to get another compatible fuse tap for this or can the provided one in the kit work? Then there’s the choice of picking the correct fuse tap….I see fuse taps that are labeled ATC, ATR, ATM, ATM LP….I'm not very good with electrical so any help is appreciated! Thanks!

You probably need a low-profile micro fuse tap like this one below. You can pull a fuse to compare and it should look like that with no protruding prongs. I'm not 100% because it's been almost 5 years since I sold my 3rd gen but I believe there should be empty slots that received power only with ignition on so you don't need to tap an active circuit. I know on my 4Runner I used one of the slashed out slots.

Unfortunately the 3rd Gen does not have any open locations that are IGN fused source.
I suggest getting this: .187" size

    and doing this to it:

And placing it on leg #1 on MG CLT Relay

    Relay needs to be removed.

Is this how you have it setup on your truck? If so can you take a photo?
