Good morning. @US Marine Good news indeed. Being home is always the best cure. Today we, my wife, son and I, are going over to my nephew's home to clean up the yard and trim back some trees. I may be older and slower, but I found I can sit in a chair and cut up tree limb debris and stuff it in a yard bag with the best of them. I will be tired tonight. The water heater was replaced yesterday, and it is an opportunity to sort through all my BBQ stuff as I put it back in the proper place. ;)

Our ship went up the Glacier Bay National Park arm. Then when it got to the Glacier it did a 360 turn very very slowly so everyone got some great views of the glacier. It’s a narrow arm so the ship pivoting 360 degrees in place is quite a feat. It was awesome. Alaskan scenery is mind boggling. Took dozens of pics. Here’s one of the glacier (it doesn’t do it justice) screwed up, posted the pic twice.

    Evening all:

Another glad you're on the mend Chuck!

Some gorgeous pics. there Ken!

Now I remember why I quit trying to golf.
As I was driving by the local golf course this morning a guy was teeing off, he made his swing and I watched the ball roll about 15-20 feet in front of him, made my day!

Good morning. Yesterday went smooth. Workday at my nephew's accomplished more that he expected. Did the jobs I do best now a days, sat in a chair and cut up bush trimmings and put them in yard waste bags and did two dump runs with my sister to take tree branches to the dump. I was useful at the dump, backed my sister up to the yard waste contained and helped her unload the cut down limbs. The dump is pretty well laid out, you toss the yard waste down into the dumpster. The tailgate latch somehow was put into the locked position, so I showed her how to reset the latch. Went out to dinner and music later on in the afternoon.

Glad to read everyone is surviving on here!

My fishing trip to the Flattops with a bud and his wifey was a great time. Sadly no Brookies, but lots of nice Cutthroats.
Ever wonder why they called it the Flattops?

The last night we had planned to have Brookies for dinner, but unfortunately we didn’t catch a single one. Very disappointing! However we had the emergency backup plan of hotdogs and beans. Still pretty good when you’re hungry.

Once I got back to I70 in Silverthorn, it was a very busy traffic day in both directions for the next 2 hour drive back to the Front Range.
All in all another beautiful few days in the woods! I love my life!
Enjoy the pictures and I wish you all could have been there. The wild mushrooms were a special treat the forest gave up.
Glad to hear folks are on the mend! Have a special day everyone!
