This is freaking brilliant, and I'm embarrassed that I did not think of it.

Looks like a nice print as well.

Yep. Mine’s a ‘20 too and still running the OGs. I watched that vid a while ago and CCN recommends replacing inserts every 6 months. The guy is good and inserts are relatively cheap but every 6 months, I don’t think so. I will replace mine before winter to be proactive.

Can you link the video? Hoping it has the Toyota part numbers listed.

I had this problem, too. I ended up using a zip tie to keep it from popping off! Glad I wasn't the only one.

I have the eibach stage 1 kit with the OME rear leaf pack. (Will likely go to Kings in the future) It’s sitting about 3” of lift. I have the yokahama geolanders in a 35”. Just know that for that size tire it required a cab mount relocation, upper control arms, and a pinch weld beatdown. Still need to regear. It’s gutless right now but still functions the way I need it too.

Had my local metal fabricator make me 2 custom brackets so I could mount my Waterport to the CBI bed rack. So much easier to install and remove now.

Aha, good to know someone else had same. I would think that either a number 8 or a 10 or 12 nut probably would have screwed onto that little black nub. To hold it down . How did you keep the zip tie from sliding off that nub?

Not officially "to the truck", but gave it some camping accessories to go with my bed tent and sleeping mat. Privacy tent was not as hard to set up as some suggested ... guess they are less mechanically inclined than I am. Food supplies and waste removal supplies, as well as a 300W battery-powered inverted that can be charged from my bed-plug. Shower bag that should be enough for me for now ... checking how much it heats up in the sun. 3'x3' hard rubber floor for draining shower water away.

The Jet Boil looks pretty handy. But the "Go Anywhere Portable Toilet"?

You should always carry a shovel. (AKA - field latrine)

For longer term encampments, a bucket and some TP. (AKA - the "field improvised" deluxe)

Added some milk crates to the bed. Four across the back fits great. Very handy for grocery-getting and such. Keeps things from tumbling around the back. Also added a 1x4 to keep the crates from moving around too much.

Crates were from the Big W. (Juggernaut brand milk crates, not the cheap file holder type.)

I may take that advice. I need to go out and get at least 2 7-gallon water cans and a small caribiner because the two plastic hooks on the shower do not fit in the small metal hook in the privacy tent. Also a cooler (probably not Yeti, but ...).

I am sitting on my folding camp chair. My bag-shower is hanging in the privacy tent to see if all is as strong as promised. May make a poop-tube for safer storage of waste material. Just retested setting up the bed-tent.

I would think there are cheaper ways to be anti-social ... :anonymous:
