When I go skiing I take a windy mountain rd.
    Better cornering wouldn't hurt.
    Any experience out there?

    TIA

SOS performance makes a kit where it utilizes the rear sway bar from a Tacoma XRunner.

Improving my suspension improved my cornering. And alignment.

    deleted sway bar.
    -more pros
    -no more cons
    -less things to deal with

I don’t know about understeer. The engine is not that far forward nor frontal power distribution like under steering cars tend to do.

if anything a stock TRD Sport without a rear bar tends toward oversteer. Depends on the configuration of the truck.

I went from stock front coil springs to 600 lbs. Previously the truck wallowed in the turns, no longer. You can also try carrying more weight in the bed.

It's a big improvement for some, I know a few tundra owners that used to put it on right away.

Stiffer springs help, but a rear sway bar literally prevents roll in corners by using the counter torsion to keep the bed from rolling.
