I’m interested in a 2024 Tacoma Limited 4WD Hybrid, and was wondering if the new suspension leads to excessive nose diving when braking and body roll when in a turn during normal driving.

I have a 2015 4Runner with KDSS (Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System) which while not the best for hard core off roading it does dramatically reduce the body roll and nose diving so that’s why I’m asking. I’ve done a lot of updates to the 4Runner such as Blisten 5100 shocks, so it would be a shame to buy a new truck and then have to do updates again.

I don’t think I’ve seen that complaint here.

    2024 TRD OR long bed
My test drive on a same loop where I've driven a whole lot of vehicles and '24 versions of SR-5, Sport, OR and Ltd got these impressions. The Limited is still a light truck type combined with the often not good short bed. If I wanted good handling and powerful the right Highlander family or even a current gen Sienna would top my list.

Limited and OR shocks seem better. Limited and Sport didn't sense the occasional bouncy characteristic of of the AT type tires.

When it became obvious I need a long bed or another van, the turbo version of a Grand Highlander stood out as FAR superior handling and comfort that has respectable trailer towing capacity some other choices might not have. Limited would still be good for trailering but all Tacoma back seats give you the economy flight experience or worse.

For sure I considered both the Limited and TRD OR nice handling for light trucks but the nicest riding of all models were long beds which the Limited is not. In our family we much prefer our two AWD wagons for handling. A Limited sticker is not far from the some European wagons we'd choose if we did not have honest and frequent light truck needs.
