Great White Taco build

I touched down at the Seattle-Tacoma airport, but literally had to run to the next gate to get on the flight to Juneau.

I vaguely remember asking how close you were to that airport, because my first flight had an 8hr layover. I also asked @Gunshot-6A to pick me up, and he was going to. But work amended my flights, and got rid of that layover.

I am slightly jealous of the weather you're having in PNW. 85 and sun sounds much better than the heat wave that DC was having, of 100+ and 50% humidity, for over 2 weeks.

But Juneau has 60 degrees and rain, which is amazing to me. I was standing outside in the rain getting soaked, until I realized that my jacket wasn't actually waterproof. Had to pick up an early bday present for myself in the form of a $300 Patagonia rain jacket . But its needed to be dry.

 

Every other car is a Tacoma/FJC/4runner or a Subaru here. I love it. Even my boss has a semi built 3rd gen with gold SCS wheels. I'll get a picture later

 

I'm five to six hours away from Seatac, depending on traffic. Literally 8 miles from the Idaho border. We hit 100 here today, supposed to be 90's all week. Eastern half of the state is generally warmer and dryer during the summer and colder during the winter than the Western half of the state.

 

Downside is that here on the western side of WA, hardly anyone has A/C so when your apt hits 87* during the day... Been pulling late nights at work the last few days just to keep in the cool work A/C.

Wow, so i found the squeak. When I was coming back from WV, i smashed an offroad pothole and split this part of my wheel well. Just tested it today, and this is the culprit. Ill put a couple spot welds to strengthen this area, and maybe add some extra material here too.

 

Passed inspection, and lives another day.

I did catch that one of my reverse lights is out, and I have a dirty air filter.

Hard to tell if the quality has changed over the years, you might be able to find a more reputable brand.
